As snowboarders we should all be concerned about climate change as our sport relies on winter and snow. Climate change means less winter, which means less snowboarding. I can’t even count how many days there are now in November where it’s two degrees and raining and I’m wishing it would be a few degrees colder so it would finally snow.

Climate change is real and it’s happening around us. In the past 100 years humans have released greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide and methane into our atmosphere polluting our environment. This is literally changing how the world works. Warmer weather, stronger storms, more erratic weather and precipitation patterns (torrential rains and droughts), and changing ocean currents are a few of the issues we will face with climate change.

In the improbable event I become an international pro or independently wealthy I’ve thought of numerous activities for my hypothetical agenda. A few examples might be, donate to charities, binge drink in Vegas, get involved with PETA, purchase a semi-automatic assault rifle or buy all organic produce. I definitely won’t, star in a MTV melodrama reality show or appear in a goofy ass hockey film and thus, undermine my creditability; Looks like Shecklers all about the Benjamin’s.

Good evening digital Babylonians

What’s there to eat in the metaphorical blog shaped fridge? Tonight, leftovers: a random mixture of fact and fun for your mental digesting pleasure. First off, Joe Sexton will finally receive his first ever pro-model ski board after years of paying his dues. Sexton’s currently filming for his next video part with the PEOPLES crew; check out their BlogSpot for all the trivial updates you can handle. Quick side note, the People crew recently filmed at Mt.Cain (CLICK image for details). In completely unrelated news, Andreas Wiig has officially, stepped beneath Burton umbrella, and joined the Forum snowboards team. In regards to the Olympics, the Cypress halfpipe is on schedule and looking sexy, if you’re intrigued and require further information follow link while enjoying a snickers: THE LINK. As for all other aspects of the Olympics, who gives a sh!t: moving on. Alternative just got some new Instrumental skateboards: come support your local skate companies. Shad’s presently working on a new album, which I’ll blog about later, in the meantime practice your gangsta walk to this. Justin Taron’s winterboard repertoire of fancy stunts recently progressed with impressive double 180’s. Drama (A.K.A Maximum) just ordered some Supra Society – turtleneck skate shoes and requests that no one else buys them. Random picture of Nikk Beach? Quite frankly, I’m shocked that you’re still reading this blog post, therefore, if you mention the secret code left in this post, you’ll receive a mad discount on your next purchase.

This really deserves its own post but I’m apathetic so I’ll get to it later; In the meantime, enjoy this link and get involved.

Hey Kids

Want to cork Nines, pretzel double kinks and float rodeos? Well, it’s acknowledged truth that all great snowboarders begin on their ass’. Thankfully the handsome chaps over at Jump Camp have organized a freestyle snowboard clinic to facilitate that grueling learning curve. The show takes place on Forbidden Plateau through February, March and April. Remember kids, cell numbers, friend requests and event invitations only occur if you got the impressionable skills: nobody likes a poser! Jump on their site and enjoy the liberties associated with dexterous snowboarding.

Hello digital minions

We just received some new threads from Lifetime, RDS, Nixon, lakai, and Altamont to keep you “from lookin’ like a fool with your pants on the ground.” Remember the foundation of popularity is digital perception, and the only way to achieve status in this binary social hierarchy is by acquiring pokes, likes, and tags. Tags directly lead to more friend requests, which leads to girl’s phone numbers (or guy’s numbers, if that situation applies to you.)Therefore, it’s vital to keep up your appearances both in reality and digitally: your friend total may be at risk.

Binge drinking happens; luckily, we have the Nikk Beach Sale to keep you ballin with three hoodies for 99 and /or four tees for 40 bones.
